Best Otter Point Elopement in Acadia
Sharing some photos from this Otter Point Elopement in Acadia. It is no secret that October is one of the best times to visit New England, and Acadia is a gem of the Northeast. Hana and Michael made their elopement an experience and wanted to exchange vows with the waves as their witness. Already officially married, they wanted to commemorate and celebrate and have an official wedding celebration in Acadia. They decided on October because they knew the fall folliage would be gorgeous and the weather would be comfortable. Read on to maybe get some inspiration for your Acadia National Park Elopement!

Otter Point Acadia Wedding
Acadia is actually a very dog friendly park, and they brought along their pup for some photos and exploring. Dogs are allowed in a lot of areas and on a lot of trails, so if you have a furry friend you want to include, this is good to know!

We started off with some exploring and photos and then when the time felt right Hana and Michael exchanged their vows with the warm sun covering them and the ocean waves as the soundtrack.

After a sweet and intimate vow exchange we decided to take a walk down a nearby path in celebration.

They then watched the sunset before heading off for their celebratory dinner in Bar Harbor.

Acadia National Park Wedding Venues
If you are planning an elopement with under 10 guests (including your vendors), you won’t need to worry about getting a permit. And you also can choose from anywhere in the park to get married, so this makes it an easy process logistically! For information and up to date details on planning your wedding in Acadia National park, visit this link here.
Some beautiful places for your ceremony could be:
- Otter Point, can occupy up to 30 guests
- Sand Beach, can occupy up to 30 guests
- Otter Cliff, can occupy up to 20 guests
- Cadillac Mountain, can occupy up to 30 guests (A vehicle reservation is required to access the summit road at certain times of the year, so keep this in mind when planning. As your elopement photographer, I will help you navigate all these logistics. You can also hike to the summit if you are an adventurous couple and would like to include a hike on your elopement day!)
