Hannah and Andrew’s Wedding in Acadia National Park
Hannah and Andrew drove up from Massachusetts for their dream elopement day on the coast of Maine surrounded by their closest loved ones. They started off their day at their lodging getting ready separately before heading into the park for their Acadia National Park intimate wedding with family. They kept their guest count low, with under 20 people and it was the perfect weekend of celebrating with their family and friends. Keep reading for inspiration on planning your own Acadia elopement or wedding day!

Getting Ready in Southwest Harbor, Maine
The Claremont Hotel made a beautiful and comfortable home base for their wedding weekend. They started off the morning with shared private vows before easing into the day. After their vows, they got ready separately each with their family and friends to help. Afterwards we prepped to head into Acadia National Park for their wedding ceremony overlooking the ocean.
Otter Point Acadia Wedding
Otter Point makes a stunning ceremony location for an Acadia wedding. It is easily accessible, with a short walk from the parking lot. The parking lot is also large so parking is easier than other areas of the park. Hannah and Andrew wanted their first look to be when she was walking down the “aisle”. Yes, even though you are eloping in Acadia National Park – you can still have an aisle to walk down! We arrived before the bride to get situated and to follow was the most beautiful and perfect afternoon ceremony.
Elopement Photos at Acadia
After their ceremony, we did some family photos before the group split up. Hannah & Andrew went to explore a few more locations in the park while family went back to the hotel to rest and get ready for dinner. We went for a little walk along Ocean Path and were cheered on by fellow sight seers on the trolley. As we walked along the path to the cliffs the ocean breeze felt amazing in the autumn sun. October is such a beautiful month to get married in Acadia!
Fall Elopement Photos at Little Hunters Beach in Acadia
To finish off the day before they were to head back to take a break before dinner, we stopped at one last spot. Little Hunter’s Beach is one of Acadia’s gems! This little cobblestone beach is peaceful and a perfect spot to stop on your elopement day or wedding day!
