Sydney & Caleb’s Grand Teton Elopement was intimate, gorgeous, and gave all the adventurous mountain feels. This location where we went for portraits is easily accessible with a very short hike. It also offers a variety of scenery with the lake, mountain backdrop, a trail, and also has a little field nearby that makes for beautiful photos. Depending on location, to elope or get married with no guests (Just you 2 elopement), you would need to get a small dispersed location permit and could have a ceremony of up to 12 participants (including your photographer and officiant). As your photographer and Grand Teton expert, I can help you navigate all of these decisions during the planning process!

Planning A Mountain Elopement

Some tips for planning your Mountain elopement:

Hire an experienced elopement photographer to help you plan.

Start with the big things first. What season? How many guests? Desired location? Once you figure out these things- the rest can fall into place. Such as, lodging, activities, food, etc…

Apply for your permit. To learn more about the permit application check out this link.

Fine tune the details such as, any additional desired vendors, attire, activities.

Book your travel.

Ready, set, elopement day! Have the best day with the love of your life making beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

After Dark Elopement Fun

Just because the sun goes down, doesn’t mean your elopement has to end there! After we spent time exploring the park and doing a small intimate ceremony, we headed into Jackson and got some really cool and fun photos in front of the iconic Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. It was so fun!
